Coach Jordy Fenn started Spiketown as a neighborhood club with four age groups and one gym. The Aces wear teal, play in-system, and treat The Hive like home. Every name, email, and roster line here is made up for the demo. No real athletes, no real photos, no real PII.
Our vision is simple: develop elite volleyball athletes through high-level training, fierce competition, and a team-first culture. We prepare players to succeed on the court, and to carry the habits of great teammates into everything they do.
Mantra: support like family, compete like Spiketown. A Spiketown athlete is confident, relentless, selfless, joyful, and fearless. They lift teammates, love competing, solve problems under pressure, and play every point like match point.
We believe in chasing greatness; competing with joy, confidence, and toughness; embracing challenges together; supporting each other like family; learning and adapting through adversity; and clear, honest communication.
Top standards at The Hive: team first; work hard; no whining, complaining, or excuses; communicate on and off the court; go for every ball and every challenge.
Style of play: loud, relentless, fast, team-first. We move with urgency. We play without the ball. We talk before, during, and after every point. We celebrate effort. We love pressure moments and figure out solutions together.
My commitment as director is to develop every athlete, build confidence, support them through challenges, and create a competitive environment where they grow as players, problem-solvers, and teammates.
Clear communication is the backbone of our club. Challenges will happen. Address them early. Playing-time questions start with the player and coach. Parents can loop the director so we can help solve problems together, respectfully, with the best interest of the athlete and the team in mind.
